This stone was erected by MAY SHAW to the memory of WILLIAM GRIEG her husband. Died on 16th Novr 1805 aged 32.

Notes:- It is possible the WILLIAM GRIEG died as a result of wounds received at the battle of Trafalgar 21st October 1805.
