Erected by the Rev W.M.S. HAMILTON St Martins Perth in memory of his father and mother. JAMES HAMILTON born at Airlie Forfarshire in 1794 lived for 57 years in Tulliallan & Kincardine. For 28 years an active and ruling elser of the Church of Scotland died 16 July 1882 in his 88th year.

SUSAN SMYTHE HAMILTON born at Cessord, Roxburghshire, died at Kincardine 1st October 1865 in her 68th year. Also his brother & sister. JAMES HAMILTON born 7th August 1827 died31st May 1835 CATHERINE HAMILTON born 20th January 1831 died 17 June 1846 and his relative MARGARET SMYTH born in Roxburghshire, died at Kincardine 21st February 1865 in her 65 year.
