East Face:-	Erected by EUPHEMIA MILLAR in memory of her husband JAMES BAIRD late shipowner in Kincardine who died the 26th January 1831 aged 59 years Also his spouse HELEN GRAY who died the 17th June 1821 aged 38 years and their daughter MARGARET who died the 2nd April 1821 aged 8 months. Also his sister ANNE BAIRD who died the 25th June 1830 aged 57 years.
West Face:-	JOHN BAIRD died at Nevis Febry 5th 1844 aged 18 years DUNCAN BAIRD died at Melbourne Septr 5th 1848 aged 17 years EUPHEMIA MILLAR died April 22nd 1873 aged 78 years JAMES BAIRD died at Kincardine March 10th 1851 aged 36 years WILLIAM BAIRD died at Kincardine June 2nd 1851 aged 26 years
