This stone was erected by WALTER RANKINE in memory of his father & mother JEREMIAH RANKINE & CHRISTIAN TURCAN who both died in a good old age and ly's interred here. Also to the memory of WALTER RANKINE, Shipowner, who died 23rd March 1836 aged 90 years.
