To the memory of ISABELLA DRYSDALE wife of DAVID DRYSDALE here interred born 13th February ........ died ....... 1821; "In whom the relative duties of wife and parent were emminently conspicious and whose aimiable disposition and simplicity of manners rendered her endearing to all aquaintances and her loss can only be alleviated by the hope that we will agian meet in that happy place, the felicity of which the sorrow and privation incident to this life can never interupt nor death can ever divide."

Erected by ROBERT DRYSDALE in memory of his father DAVID DRYSDALE who died 11th February 1829 aged 44 years. Also his brother ALEXANDER who drowned at Beak Island 22nd November 1816 aged 17 years; ROBERT DRYSDALE died 13th September 1877 aged 64 years; MARGARET WOOD DRYSDALE died 4th July 1878 aged 62 years; EUPHEMIA DRYSDALE died 5th December 1886 aged 67 years; CHRISTIAN RANKINE relict of Captn ROBERT DRYSDALE died 31st January 1888 aged 74 years.
